       Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ordnance Factory Dumdum is one of the premier Institutions in India and to the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan under Ministry of HRD, Deptt. of School Education & Literacy, Government of India. The students are provided with ample opportunities to improve their organisational skills and group dynamics. Apart from stressing on consistent and good academic performance, the Vidyalaya's focus on all - round development encourages a vibrant interest in the curricular and co-curricular activities to bring out the latest talents in its students. Our Mission

       The Kendriya Vidyalaya, O.F. Dum Dum have a four - fold mission, viz.,

• To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government including Defence and Para-military personnel by providing a common programme of education ;
• To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education;
• To initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) etc. and
• To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of "Indianness" among children.
